What’s new for me?

These few weeks, we have covered the past and present events happened in HKDL, what will be the next? Don’t worry, this legend will not end.

As you can see the map from last post, Hong Kong Disneyland will expand three new lands, which will be located on the left side of the park, just connect the west of Adventureland. With regard to adding more than 30 new attractions, play and entertainment experiences, the total number of visitor arrival will be increased by 23%. The expansion enhances the attractiveness of the park in order to create memorable guest experiences, strong word-of-mouth and repeating business. The most important is to offer unique theme areas that will be only available in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Grizzly Trail (Only available in HKDL)

Grizzly Gulch, Frontier Gold-Mining Town

Walk along Grizzly Trail, you will see an abandoned mining town called Grizzly Gulch. The town was established in August, 1888. In Chinese, 8 mean fortune. Now, Bears have started causing a lot of trouble for the Big Grizzly Mountain Mining Company.

Grizzly Gulch offers guests hands-on water experience, there has massive geysers and various leaking structures in the town. Besides, life-size Audio-Animatronic® bears hides in the Grizzly Mountain and waits a chance to attack the human-being with some unexpected explosions. Guests careen backward down an incline that propels them through twists and turns, before a launch sequence “blasts” the mine train out of the mountain. It also provides a photo-taking opportunity at Wild West stagecoach, old Jail and the world’s largest nugget of gold. Guest can stay at old Saloon to enjoy the Wild West refreshment or buy souvenirs at Bear Necessities merchandise stand.

Mystic Point (Only available in HKDL)

Mystic Point is the site of mystical power and surreal events in the heart of a dense, uncharted rain forest. In Mystic Manor, a home belonged to an eccentric world traveler and adventurer and his collection of exotic artifacts, strange things are afoot as the music box was enchanted, by a naughty monkey, to release magical powers.

Mystic Manor is equipped with the trackless ride system that enables vehicles to move “freely” When the naughty monkey opens the magic music box, “strange things” happen at the meanwhile….Well, what it will be? The Audio-Animatronic® figures and special visual and audio effects aid to tell the story of mystical phenomena. On the other hand, nearby the Manor is Mystic Point, there are a beautiful garden that is full of relics and mythic figures, where leads guest to enter into the mystical world. Guests can enjoy their meal at Adventurer’s Club, which feature a very interesting theme, where demonstrate a vast collection of special artifacts from around the world. Or you can find Archive Shop to purchase the unique curiosities and collectibles.

Both of the new themed areas will be operated in 2014. I know, we cannot feel and experience it at that moment because there are without any physical things to showcase to all of you. Hope the attached pictures and my description can raise your interests.

What will happen in the future?

Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the smallest Disneyland in world,

but did everyone hear a news that...

there is a extension project in Disneyland?

Are all the Disneyland fans exciting about this?

Now, I am going to tell you some more details about this!!

On 30th June, 2009 the Chief Executive Donald Tsang has announced that  this Hong Kong Disneyland will  invest 3.5 billion for the extension and will end in 2014. The theme of Disneyland will be increased from 4 parts to 7 parts.

For the Toy Story lover,  I think you will be very happy since the Toy Story Land will be the firsy on to see all of you. The Toy Story Land will be welcome all of you in 2011. Follow by is the  Mystic Point and than is the Grizzy Trail. The Disneyland thinks that all above 3 parts will be welcome the public at 2013.

In the Toy Story Land, park features a U-shaped rail cars, toy soldiers parachuting and three slight-shot dogs, these three rides. Bedsides, there will have restaurants, retail and recreational facilities in the Toy Story Land.

Also, in the Toy Story Land there is a number of photo taking place, including a Big Woody Model set at the park entrance. 15% of the park project has been completed, some rides are transporting to Hong Kong and the park is  expected to use at the end of next year. I am on of the woody's fans. I think I must go one to the Toy Story Land to take photo with him.

For the expansion of the Disneyland, the park will recruit hundreds of people, including Toy Story headquarters alone next year, will employ over 100 people responsible for engineering, operation and cleaning. This expansion will benefit Hong Kong a lot.

An alien called Stitch

Tell you a secret, I love the alien from space for a long time. He is in blue color and fuzzy. Does anybody know him? His name is Stitch.

In the Hong Kong Disneyland, I like the attraction of Stitch Encounter most. When you visit the attraction of Stitch Encounter, it will bring you to a spaceship. By looking at the screen, stitch will talk, listen to guests and even play a trick on guests. You can gain different experience for different time because the conversation with guests will not repeat. Before visiting the attraction, I think it is boring and wasting time. However, I found that that it was so funny and I had an unforgettable experience which Stitch Encounter gave me. One of the interest things is if you are the people wanted, your photo will appear on the screen. But you can not find the camera at the spaceship. When you visit Stitch Encounter next time, don’t miss the chance to find the magic of how the photo can be taken. Since that, it helped me to raise the interest and paying attention to Stitch. Of course, Stitch has become my favorite character of Disney.

Now, as a fan of Stitch, I would like to tell you the background story of Stitch. Stitch is a main character of the film called "Lilo and Stitch," The story is about a girl called Lilo who is living in Hawaii. Her parents are both died. Luckily, she has a elder sister to take care of her. One day, she met with a special creature, Stitch. Stitch has become one of the family members of Lilo. Because of the bad temper of stitch, it always brings troublesome to Lilo. In fact, Stitch is the test sample of number 626, the most perfect one. And the following part of the film will talk about how Stitch escape from the inventor who makes Stitch.

Christmas @ Disneyland (II)

Hello everyone! Christmas is coming! Refers to the recent post, we knew the Sparkling Christmas's basic info in Disneyland and today I would like you tell you about some special activities will hold during Nov 19 to Jan 2 in Hong Kong Disneyland.

The followings are some special activities that you can find in the Sparkling Christmas in Disneyland!

- Main street,
U.S.A. Christmas Town -

In the Main Street, U.S.A., it becomes the Christmas Town with whimsical decorations that make for the sweetest Christmas photographs. In the christmas town, it will have the "snow" discover sometimes too! It is really romantic and special for the Hong Kong-ers because we never see "snow" in Hong Kong.

 

- Meet Duffy The Disney Bear -

Do you know Minnie has made Mickey a special teddy bear named Duffy? If your answer is "No", it is so great because this year, you have a chance to meet Duffy and his friends at Christmas Town Main Street, U.S.A. Please come to meet him!

 "Let it snow" Christmas Parade -
Have you see any types of Parade in Hong Kong Disneyland before? If the answer is no, you must to see the "Let it snow" Christmas Parade this year! You can enjoy the continuous gentle snowfall and join in the fantasy and merriment as hundreds of costumed dancers perform in a glittering procession. This Parade is really great.


- Hotel Holiday Magic -
In Christmas, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will bring the magical spirit of Christmas to all its Suites. At no additional cost, you can enjoy festive holiday decorations and receive a special holiday hamper when you step inside your Kingdom Suite.


- Meet Mickey and Friends -
Don't forget to bring your camera to take the photos with Mickey & Friends! They are all having in new costumes for the Storybook Fantasy Christmas

Hong Kong Disneyland part II.

Hello everyone! After reading the post of Hong Kong Disneyland Part I, I know you guys are waiting for part II for a long time! So today I will continue to introduce you about Hong Kong Disneyland and tell you another two parts - Fantasyland and Adventureland.
 

In the Fantasyland, you can through the castle doors and immerse yourself in the place where Disney stories come to life. Journey through the land, you can meet the princesses, take a ride with Dumbo and watch the fabulous stage shows. 

 

Ofcourse, you can find lots of attraction and entertainment there. For example, it's a small world, mickey's philharmagic, the golden mickeys at disney's storybook theater, fantasy gardens, the many adventures of winnie the pooh, sleeping beauty castle, mad hatter tea cups, cinderella carousel, dumbo the flying elephant...etc. Most I likely is going to the fantasy gardens because in the gardens, I can take photos with different Disney characters!



Also, in the gardens, you can see lots of funny things happen there! like this woman...a very special pose for shooting =P

Others, it is about adventureland. In the adventureland, voyage into an exotic world on a jungle boat journey. Watch the colorful pageant of music and dance in the live musical based on "The Lion King" movie. Climb the towering branches of Tarzan's Treehouse. So do you know what are the attractions in adventureland? Let me tell you now! You can find festival of the lion king, jungle river cruise, tarzan island and liki tikis. For me, I most likely the liki tikis! Liki tikis is the water play abounds in the fun-filled activity area! In the hot summer, all tourists are likely play the water in there! So if you go to adventureland next time, please remember to go there to get wet and have fun!

Hong Kong Disneyland Part I

Yo.......How many time have you been to Hong Kong Disneyland? Have you finished to play and look all the things in Disneyland?? Do you konw how many things in the Disneyland?? This post and the next post would tell you more about Hong Kong Disneyland. You can find that HK Disneyland has seperate into four parts. And now I will tell you the two parts which are Main Street,U.S.A and Tomorrowland. The next post will tell you about Fantasyland and Adventureland.

Entry the Disneyland, you can see a big Mickey Mouse head on the front of you.

Behind the Mickey Mouse head, you can find the Main Street, U.S.A. In the Main Streer, U.S.A, you can find lots of shop. In the shops, there are different type of theme in the shop. You can find that the shops had different floor and ceiling. Also, you can find that there are restaurant and bakery shop. When you feel hungry, you can eat there. There is the great way to see the Parade. You can find that the Parade is very fantastic. You will love it very much. Sometime you can find your favorite characters come out to see you in the street to take photo with you! Remember to buy the souvenirs in the shops which located in the Main Street, U.S.A before you leave.

In the Tomorrowland, you can find that there are six attractions. Which are Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Space Mountain, Stitch Encounter, Orbitron, UFO Zone and Autopia. Here is very famous because you can play with Buzz, Stitch. Also you can try the Space feeling during the Space Mountain. You can see and feel beautiful night view.

Buzz: To infinity and beyond!

To be honest, I am not disneyholic. When I was young, I only watched Japanese anime. But no doubt after watching Toy Story 3, I extremely adore Buzz Lightyear a lot!

Now, please let me talk about something that unrelated to Mr. Buzz. When I watched Toy Story, I have a strong sympathy with Andy and his toy. I don’t know how many of you like playing toys during your childhood. For me, I don’t need pretty Barbie, I don’t need expensive dolls. Every little thing can fulfill my needs. In 1998, my sister gave me a rabbit doll, named Siu Pak. He has already been our “litter brother” and living with us almost 11 years. From that time on, we have set the birth date and would celebrate for him every year. We would also humanize Siu Pak by changing our voice to pretend his cute voice. We even give him a bath and collect many new toys for him to create a small community within this house. Other people might think I am seriously crazy, how come a twenty something girl still holding a doll like an idiot? But do you know we have already built a special, amazing relationship between my family and Pak? While I found there are some broken areas on his neck or else where, I will cry and call my sister to save him. Recently I saw the photo album, Siu Pak has changed his size a lot. A little fatty now became an underweight child. I am worry……………………someday he will leave me first.

Let’s come back to the topic, Buzz is my favorite character in Toy Story 3. Before he came to Andy’s home, he still thinks he is a space ranger to protect the universe. Until Woody said the truth – he is only a toy that can be easily found in the stores. He finally accepted the fact and was trying to be friend with Woody, Rex, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head etc. This story inspired me to think over their small but strong relationship, they are not just an object, each of them have their own spirit and mind to protect their friends. The story also let me know more about Buzz Lightyear, his mother language is Spanish, while he was being out of his mind, he spoke incoherently.

I admire his personality. He is a clever and confident leader, he always makes right decision and guides all the things succeed. He has great bravery to explore the uncertain places which enable him a spirit of adventure. While some emergency accidents happened, he is willing to sacrifice himself.

My most favorite scene of Toy Story 3 is the ending part. Andy starts to study in University and he won’t have much time to play with his toys. Therefore he plans to help all toys to find a new owner, Bonnie. I almost cry every time while I saw Andy gulped back his tears to introduce each toy in great detail. Finally Andy left, Bonnie hold Woody hands to say good-bye with smile. In the meanwhile, I can’t stop my tears from running down my face as I tried to catch on Woody and Buzz's thought: They must miss Andy very very much.

SUMMER IN THE DISNEYLAND Part 2

Yesterday was the HALLOWEEN. Had you enjoy yourself?? Did you had "TARICK or TREAT"? Had you getting lots of sweets? Hope you enjoy.

Now is my term to tell you more about SUMMER in the DISNEYLAND. Two days before, we had tell you that last summer in the disneyland was hold a “Stitch & Friends Summer Hangout”. We had tell you that there are over 20 Disney friends will be featured at the “Stitch and Friends Summer Surprise”. Now I will tell you what happened in the Disneyland in other 3 parts.

First, Tomorrowland had a change. Space hero Buzz Lightyear and his adorable Space Rangers will host Buzz Lightyear Intergalactic Party. Have you see the party before?A live D.J. will be playing the hippest tunes throughout the day and interacting with Guests. Don't miss the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters Playoffs to compete for the title of space cadet champion.

Second, join Terk and Timon to enjoy some adventurous jungle fun at the Adventureland Oasis Party.Do not be shy to perform the limbo dance with high-energy tropical music along with jungle drummers in Jungle Boogie Fun during the day. In the evening, the partyintensifies with the fun of Wild Rhythms as fire knife dancers showcasing exciting performances of the South Seas.

Lastly, remember to go to Fantasyland Play Party. In there, Minnie Mouse and her friends are making this summer even more colorful and magical. A series of interactive summertime games are prepared for everyone. Get ready to soak in the sunlight and play beach ball with Pluto, learn how to hula hoop with Minnie Mouse or create giant bubbles with Donald or Daisy.

Plx don't forget the Mickey’s WaterWorks Parade. Let you see the Parade first.

SUMMER IN THE DISNEYLAND

ALOHA to all.
How are you doing this week? Shivering all over with cold?
Who want summer back? summer summer summer...
O YES S-U-M-M-E-R !! 

Question: What event does the Disneyland held in last sumeer?
Nobody know? Doesn't matter. I am going to tell you now. 

Last summer the Hong Kong Disneyland had spread the summer fun across the whole resort. The Disneyland  organized a event named "Stitch & Friends Summer Hangout".  It included "Stitch and Friends Summer Surprise", "Buzz Lightyear Intergalactic Party", "Adventureland Oasis Party"and "Fantasyland Play Party". Beside the park also open two special area to us. They are the Summer Lounges which give us have a place to relax.

Stitch this cute little dooly. Who don't love it ?

When you are playing in this HOT HOT sumeer. Disneyland is so good to all of you. The parade will sprinkle water to every single one of you to cool you down.

Now I am going to show you some more detail about part of the "Stitch & Friends Summer Hangout". Stitch and Friends Summer Surprise!! What suprise does it give to you? Let's see.

More than 20 Disney friends are going to say HALO to each of you. Stitch invided 7 of his dear friends, Lilo,Woody & Jessie, Pinocchio, Rafiki Mr. & Mrs. Incredible and Frozone, Jasmine and Aladdin, Sulley,  and Carl & Russellto come with him to the Sleeping Beauty Castle. 

I think most of you are familiar with them, righ? BUT WHY THEY ARE APPEAR THERE?
..."takeing photo with us"Yes, you are right. They were waiting us there to take photo with them to give you a memorable moment,a wonderful summer.

ARE YOU FELLING EXCITED AND WAINTING FOR THE COMMING SUMMER?
